Rocha Dance Theater recently performed our work “Half-Heard” in Sao Miguel, Azores this past November. We have the unique opportunity for you to watch that show by inviting you to a Zoom viewing party!
The viewing will be on Saturday, April 9th at 7:30pm! Tickets are a suggested donation of $15 but you can pay less or more! All proceeds will go towards paying the performers involved in the project.
As you may know, this project was supposed to take place in April of 2020 and through many attempts was finally postponed to November 2021. As you may imagine, our funding for this project was cut short due to Covid…so we are using this opportunity to raise the additional funds. We would greatly appreciate any support you can offer.
WHAT TO DO:
1. Venmo your donation to: Jenny-Rocha and write Half-Heard viewing and your email address in the comment. See scan code below. Contact Jenny for an alternative form of payment.
2. Jenny will email you a zoom link for the viewing date/time.
3. On April 9th at 7:30pm, join us on Zoom! We will do a quick introduction. Following this, a link with a password will be given to everyone in the chat. We will countdown to view on our own devices.
4. Following the viewing, we will hold a quick Q&A so grab a drink and ask away! We’ll share some photos too.
5. Don’t worry! If you can’t make it but would still like to support the company and/or watch the show, you will be given a temporary link and password that can be accessed between April 8th at 9am-April 10th midnight. You can comment: Link only, in the comment.
The company will be viewing it as a group at Jenny’s apartment on the 9th! We hope to see you there!
